Who would you cast in the movie version of this novel?

I love the question referring to movie scenes from the novel, and then the idea hit me...who plays Mrs. Roosevelt? Who do you cast as the Supreme's ? Earl? Etc.

Who would you cast in the movie version of this novel?

Halle Berry for Barbara Jean. Jennifer Hudson for Clarice. Octavia Spencer for Odette. Work in Kerry Washington, too. I will continue to think about the men. But I do hope to see the movie someday.

I agree with the suggestion for Halle Berry as Barbara Jean. I have no doubt that this book will be a movie. As for the character of Mrs. Roosevelt...hmmmm. Glenn Close? (Not even sure why her name came to mind; it simply did.)

rebeccar, interesting suggestion for Glenn Close as ER. I like that idea! I'm sure she could pull it off. Or Meryl Streep. She certainly could.
