Before Sylvan and Charlie even get together, you know they are fated to be together. What keeps the pages turning in this electric buildup?

You see throughout the book how Charlie feels about Sylvan from the first time he lays eyes on her. You also see what he does for her throughout the story. What kept me turning pages was waiting to see how and if Sylvan would return those feelings and in what way. I wanted to find out exactly how things would turn out for the both of them. The suspense was subtle and the twists the story took were completely unexpected for me, it made me want to keep going to the end.

The description by the author of the feelings Charlie realizes he has for Sylvan were extremely strong and the subtle flirting Sylvan threw Charlie's way made interesting interplay between the two. The feelings grew and I was actually surprised how quickly they became an item. I was quite eager to find out what would happen. I knew Boaty Glass would not give her up.

Yes, the author's writing style does keep a reader interested. They were both unusual character types which may be why they were attracted to each other.

I like to follow a story when you need to experience the build up of a relationship. It is more real to me and a much better reading experience.
