I didn't get the feeling that Christine was envious, but she was aware of the difference between their standards of living and worried that it made a difference to Isaac. I don't believe that any of this made any difference to Isaac; he truly loved Christine.

I don't feel wealth made any difference to Christine or Isaac as they were truly in love. Their religion and social differences only mattered when the Nazis made them be.

It is interesting that the wealth of Isaac's family could have potentially been the cause of jealousy of other families like Christine's yet they were interred because some thought they were less than human

I felt that both Christine and Isaac were so comfortable with who they were as people that they really did not have an issue with that. Perhaps because they both came from strong and loving families they were able to see beyond such things.

No, she accepted her role in life as did Isaac. They were very much in love so didn't let their lifestyles keep them apart.

I do not think wealth played into their feelings. There was little written that would make you think that was an issue.
