Do you think that meeting her bio parents was the best thing for Savannah?

Would Savannah have been better off without having met her biological parents? Would it have been better if she were older and found them herself?

No, I do not. If it had been her choice, then yes, but not when the decision was made for her.

Yes! If a kid knows she is adopted, she will always be curious about where she came from, and will feel that something is missing until she meets them. Meeting them so young will help her process the adoption throughout her childhood and career. It doesn't mean that she WANTS to go live with her bio parents, it will just help her put all of the pieces together.

That being said, it's one thing to meet them, and would have been another thing if Tia had been successful at getting "Honor" back - I definitely don't think THAT would have been best for Savannah!

You never know what a kid is going to go through, during her/his childhood, with their imaginings, etc.; at least, if they meet their birth parent(s), some of those things can be put to rest. I do think it's different for each child, so nobody can know the answer to that in advance.

No, I think she was just too young. She had insecurity issues with Caroline & then two more people waltz into her life. The fact that she clung to Peter & asked more than once if she was going to be taken away was a sign to me. She didn't understand.

No. She was way too young for this. How confusing for her. She was terrified she'd be taken away. Made me mad at the self-absorbed adults.
