Betty, Annie, and Miranda have different expectations from men and the relationships they have with them. Which approach is better?

I don't know if I totally agree with that. I think it's true that each person has their own way of doing things when it comes to pursuing relationships, but I think Miranda's approach was extremely problematic for everyone involved, especially her. I find it interesting, and not a coincidence, that when she changed her approach with Lynn, she actually found a lasting relationship.

This story did provide a look at various women's approaches to relationships with men. None of these approaches proved successful so I think if there is any merit to the story it might be to think about where these women got in life with their ideas about men. Probably the moral to the story is to think about the decent unassuming guy in the background as a romantic possibility!
