Did everyone receive a signed copy of the book? When I opened up my copy, I was excited to see it's been signed by the author. Such a nice surprise!

I might be able to clear up the mystery...the publisher sent me several cases of books last spring for me to sign. I remember it well because in my glee at seeing boxes of my book, I hugged the startled Fedex man (I don't think they get hugged very much). I signed something like a hundred and fifty books and sent them back to the publisher. They were all first printings (look at the copyright page: 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 -- if that's what yours says, it's a first printing (first editing, first printing). The book is now at an 8th printing (as of yesterday), and I think the signed firsts were all gone by December. Anyway, what you have must be that shipment I signed last spring. I don't know where they wound up, but at bookstores around the country, I imagine. --Anna Jean
