From Theon’s fate to Lil and Sasha’s final choices, every character ends in a different place from where they began. Did the characters’ endings feel earned? What do you imagine happens to Lil, Sasha, Autumn, and Wyn after the epilogue? What feeling lingered with you at the end of the book?

I thought the ending felt natural but surprising. For me, Lil, Sasha, Autumn, and Wyn are together until Autumn and Wyn return to the woods and the magic begins again.

In the final pages of the book each of the main characters seems to have completed a circuit and moved into a different but well earned life phase. Theon won’t return and Sasha and Lil have changed roles. Autumn and Sasha are in a relationship and both stay on the farm with Wyn. When the book ended, I was feeling satisfied and confident that they would all be happy.

I did feel the characters' journeys seemed earned - they went through a lot! I was pleased that Lil was going to have a chance to live her life; assuming her time loop restarted and she was thirty-ish for the last time, she still had lots of opportunity for happiness. I think I closed the book feeling hopeful for the characters.

I liked that Lil got to leave - altho believe she will be back. The rest of them staying was no surprise. They will stay caught in the time loop for as long as it exists.
