Michel states that 'all lives are condemned to remain unfinished' and that 'by the time we learn to live, it's already too late.' Do you agree? Why or why not?

No. It is a blanket statement that would not be true for all. I would try and live my life to the fullest until I was unable to.
I think Michael did the same with Miranda. What would his life be like if he had not met Miranda?

I also disagree. It seems to be a rather grandiose generalization. It would be true if you live your life never being satisfied or feeling that your accomplishments and relationships are never “ good enough”. Never knowing when our time is up makes it important to try and live our best life possible every day.

When you really think about this, I think it is true... we are constantly changing and evolving in our relationships and thoughts and although I don't think a life is ever a waste, because we are always "living it"and learning from it, I don't think we fully become who we are until we look back and think about things...how we could have loved better, what arguments we should have let go, regrets we may have had... and the fact that we are never finished...I dont think many people have looked back and said there was nothing more to do or give, I think many people are satisfied with their lives, but really never finished. I think it is human nature to want one more day.

I definitely disagree with Michel on this. My intention has always been to live each day to the fullest, and I am personally satisfied that I have done that.

No. A life is never unfinished. Everyone accomplishes something. The mere birth of a child continues each life.
I agree there are things it would have been nice to know in my 20's that I now know, but would I be me with that change? I think we are always learning to live, but it is never too late.

Maybe the thought of never knowing when our life will end is part of that thought. Are there not times like one we are in now when we may believe or wish that we could be more. Okay “all lives” is a bit harsh. Having dealt with depression, deaths, illness and life I can see that there are moments one could feel like this.
