Harry Potter 25th anniversary celebration

Sep 22 2023

On Sept. 27, the Empire State Building will be magically aglow with the four colors of Hogwarts: Gryffindor red, Slytherin green, Ravenclaw blue and Hufflepuff yellow. The upcoming light show is part of the 25th anniversary celebration for the U.S. publication of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

J.K. Rowling’s seven-book series about young wizards has sold 600 million copies worldwide, transformed the children’s publishing industry and earned a permanent spot in literary history.
