All is Not Forgotten will not be forgotten
This book is a very compelling read. Although the theme is a bit dark due to the situations that have been "forgotten" (or not), the twists and turns are very well done. Most parents, given the choice, would want to sweep away unhappy memories from their child's life. But, in this book, the ramifications are proven to be astronomical.
The character development made you really feel like you knew the people. Unfortunately, the choices made in this book made most every character someone I wouldn't choose to befriend.
I think this book gives a lot of food for thought and for this reason I think that it would be a great book club book. The discussion would be lively.

    All Is Not Forgotten
All Is Not Forgotten is a disturbing book. Very well written, with an unusual story line. It begins with the rape of a young woman. No spoiler, this is right in the beginning. The basis of the story is who raped her? However, the book is so much more. How the family and friends handle the crime. What is the best thing for the victim. What can the the professional's do and of course, who is the rapist and will he be caught. There are so many layers, but it all flows into a riveting story. When you think you know what direction it is going in, it veers off into another. I cannot think of how to explain this book without giving too much away. So I will not try. I will say this is one of the best books I have read in too long a time. I read it almost nonstop and now that I am done, I keep thinking about it. Yes, I will read it again.

All Is Not Forgotten - anytime soon for readers
One of the most absorbing books I've read this year! I was blessed to receive it. Exquisitely written, using the psychiatrist as narrator for the story of a young teen brutally raped at a party and his care of the victim and her family. The small town setting lends itself to many others' involvement as well.

Because of the writer's skill introducing the many intricate twists and turns , I could not put it down.

    All is Not Forgotten
What an interesting book. While it teaches a lot about psychology, it also developed into a very thrilling story. It was really a page turner. I found it hard to put down after the first one hundred pages. The story answers questions about family, a parent's love for his children and morality. I recommend this book highly.

A Best Seller -- No Doubt About It
By the time I had read five pages of this book – I knew I was in for a great journey! This book hooked me from the beginning and I finished it way too soon. I was suspicious of several individuals in the story right off the bat. This book threw out plenty of believable red- herrings and I was caught hook-line-and-sinker on each one. It was delightful to find out when I was wrong because that kept me glued to the book. Oh, how I wish all books were as fun to read as this diabolical story. I spent much of the story unable to trust who to believe: the narrator, the victim, any of the parents or the police. They all were giving me clues – but who to believe?! The writing was fluid and there was no suspension of belief. This story could easily happen in today's society. Too easily, if you ask me. This was robust with believable characters and their flawed personalities allowed me to love and/or hate them even more. Simply put, this was a great mystery, character study and home-town whodunit. I will be looking for more books in the future by Wendy Walker, that's for sure! I'm giving it 5 stars – and would give more stars if I could. Thank you BookBrowse for introducing me to Wendy Walker. She's a terrific writer! This book is off-the-charts and I hope it becomes a best-seller!

    An intense, riveting read
I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Wendy Walker is an excellent writer and the story was a thriller. I was engaged early and read with enthusiasm to the end. The device of the psychiatrist as the narrator is a good one, with the good and evil described in great detail. I highly recommend All is not Forgotten.

    Best have ever reviewed
This book deserves its five star rating. The style, prose, plot, and characters are all engaging. The most enjoyable book I have read this year. Only the final five pages disappoint. Just a little too neat at the ending. It is easy to see why people want to make this book into film.
