    Not Falling In Love
Falling is an easy read, but wasn't a page turner for me. The characters were developed nicely and realistically; you either loved them or not as was the authors intent. There could have been more chemistry between the characters which would have given the story a little more depth. It was a sweet love story with several twists and turns toward the last of the book that kept me interested. This was definitely a Chick Lit book which is really not my cup of tea. (Pun intended)

    Falling - a love story
This is a beach read - a very light summer read. Jane Green writes her characters with depth and warmth. You'll find yourselves rooting for the characters. Both her female and male characters are written with compassion and their situations are very contemporary. Although, I thought the novel started a bit slow, I was swept away with the character's' hopes and dreams. Her characters would resonate with any female reader. I would recommend this book to escape a hot summer day.

Light read for a plane ride or beach day but little substance
I read this book in a few days. It kept me interested briefly, but was somewhat predictable except for the ending which was rushed. I read it while I wasn't feeling well and this book was perfect for that situation. However, I wouldn't recommend it to my book club. There isn't much depth and not much to discuss. I can't imagine discussing it for more than about 15 minutes. Take it to the beach or on a plane for a quick read but it isn't all that memorable. For me, the question is always: Will I remember this book in six months?

    Falling by Jane Green
I wanted to like this book and did in parts, but overall it left me a bit cold. It was a light read that would suit a summer beach or long plane ride. While I liked the Dominic, the male lead, Emma, the female lead, drove me nuts. She was so insecure and reactive. I wanted more maturity. Also the love was instant and neither character seemed to trust it. There was little chemistry to justify the insta-love. I did think the little boy Jesse was written well. He was as changeable and emotional as children can often be. He added a lot to the book.

As I said, I wanted to like this, but it was just okay for me. I think if the main characters had been stronger people it would have been more enjoyable. As it was, I kept wanting to shake them and tell them to grow up. Also, the ending felt manipulative and rather crappy.

I was happy to receive this book as part of the early review program. I wish my review was more positive. I will give Jane Green another try though. I have heard good things about her other novels.

    Falling
Falling starts out as a light summer read with the usual story line of falling in love with someone with a different lifestyle. It is slow moving at first, then slams you with a plot twist you are not expecting.

    Summer Reading
This was an easy read but did not find it particularly engrossing. The whole book was predictable.Even though the author took up to page 259 to develop the characters before a plot twist, I did not care much what happened to any of them. Whole story unrealistic to me.

An easy, but not very satisfying summer read
I am not really sure about this book, while it was an easy read and one that went by quickly, it was unsatisfying. I didn't think the characters were well developed and I didn't really "get" the attraction. There could have been more substance to them and I didn't really care for either one and couldn't figure out the attraction. I don't want to give away the ending or the other things that happen in the book, but my overall feeling was "Huh?".
