Catherine Meyer has remarried. For five years from 1997 she lived in Washington, D.C. where her husband was the British Ambassador to the United States. She is still waging an active campaign in several countries to regain the right to be with her children--and is lobbying for enforceable laws against child abduction.
Meyer is actively involved with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and in organizing international conferences on the broader issues raised by her personal story.
Catherine Meyer's story has been featured in The Washington Post and Vogue.
She appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2012 Birthday Honours for services to children and families
