Soniah Kamal Biography

Soniah was born in Pakistan, grew up in England and Saudi Arabia and lived in the U.S., New Mexico, Maryland, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, California and currently in Georgia.

Soniah Kamal's debut novel, An Isolated Incident, was a finalist for the Townsend Prize for Fiction and the Karachi Literature Festival–Embassy of France Prize. Her TEDx Talk is about regrets and second chances. Kamal's work has appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, The Guardian, Catapult, BuzzFeed, Literary Hub, and other publications.
