Bart Yates (aka Noah Bly) is the author of seven novels, including Leave Myself Behind (winner of the 2004 Alex Award), The Language of Love and Loss, The Third Hill North of Town, and The Very Long, Very Strange Life of Isaac Dahl (July 2024). Two of his books have been translated into Italian and one into Dutch. Yates is also a professional musician and plays clarinet, saxophone, and bass guitar. He lives in Iowa City and shares his home with the world's finest and most discerning cat.
