Marc Levy lives in New York's west village, is a practiced and personable reader, and speaks English exceptionally well. If Only It Were True, his first novel, was an instant #1 bestseller. North American sales ofIf Only It Were True topped 350,000; UK/ANZ sales reached 33,000. The film rights were sold to Spielberg's Dreamworks and the 2001 film starred Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo. The combined sales of Marc Levy's thirteen novels, translated into 45 languages, have surpassed the 27 million copy mark worldwide. Marc Levy is the most read French author in the world.
