Online reader reviews can be great for discovering what other people think of books that you're considering reading yourself. BookBrowse's First Impressions program is an extra reliable resource for high-quality, trustworthy reader reviews of new titles.

To help ensure that reviews and consensus ratings are not influenced by personal connections to the author, we only publish reviews from BookBrowse members who opt to participate in the program. First Impressions reviewers receive books months ahead of publication in exchange for their honest opinions. They can request specific titles but the books are assigned by an algorithm.

Through this approach, we're able to regularly bring you fresh, candid, personal perspectives on new releases from readers like you. By comparing multiple authentic reactions to the same book, you can better decide whether that book is suited to your tastes. And with a wide variety of titles featured, you're sure to find plenty that spark your interest.
