A gripping Roman mystery. For Children 9-12

This is the seventh volume in Lawrence's Roman mystery series. The series has been a favorite of ours for a few years now, even since one of our children's English Godmothers sent the first two books as a Christmas present.

The books in series order available in the UK are: The Thieves of Ostia (2001), The Secrets of Vesuvius, The Pirates of Pompeii, The Assassins of Rome, The Dolphins of Laurentum, The Twelve Tasks of Flavia Gemina, The Enemies of Jupiter, The Gladiators of Capua, The Colossus of Rhodes, The Fugitive From Corinth and The Sirens of Surrentum

At the time of writing only the first 7 are available in the USA.

This is a great historical mystery series - with lots of period detail (so much that the books are on the curriculum in many UK schools) interwoven with mysteries targeted at the 9-12 age range. They come highly recommended by all four of us - aged 9 to 45!
