Tell No One
by Harlan Coben
 (1/10/2005)
age 16. This book is all about revealing secrets and what can happen if you don't. Life goes fine for a while and then everything speeds up to an unreal pace, like throwing a stone into a silent, placid pond. It is a fast paced book and there are twists every few chapters.
The Gospel According To Larry
by Janet Tashjian
 (1/10/2005)
Larry is just an average kid who decides to challenge the the every day consumer. He starts a website and preaches about the cult that is hi fashion and pop culture. No one know who he is, but everyone knows who he is. Then all at once his identity is released and he starts geting interviewed on talk shows about how he did it. But no one cares anymore about his views. He becomes part of pop culture and his teachings are lost completely. I loved this book becuase it makes you think about what commercialism is doing to the world.
Loser
by Jerry Spinelli
 (1/10/2005)
He thinks of himself as a loser, but he is not. He leads a simple life, laughs at the small things. People would say he marches to the tune of his own drum or the beat of hiw own drum or whatnot. David is an akward child, but sincere, and people don't ever take notice. He is always picked last in P.E. and in band he always seems to hit the wrong pitch at the right time. Everyone was once like him.
Dancing in My Nuddy-Pants: even further confessions of Georgia Nicolson
by Louise Rennison
 (1/10/2005)
Age 16

Ok, the Georgia Nicolson books kind of run together into one, long, hillariously snoggworthy entity. Just a second, I have to go look to see where the book started and ended. Ok, that didn't really help much. I read this book about a year ago, I think.

Good books are usually books with characters that people can relate to. Georgia has her ups and downs and sha always comes out better than she was before. She shares her pain and her joy, and her fabu snogging style complete with tips and a step by step expanation.

I do not think this if a very guy friendly book, but I do know a few who have read it and loved it.

Also, if you like these books then you will love "The Year My Life Went Down the Loo"
