The Tale of Despereaux: Being the Story of a Mouse, a Princess, Some Soup, and a Spool of Thread
by Kate DiCamillo, Timothy Ering
AMAZING (4/26/2006)
The Tale of Despereaux was an AMAZING story! I finished it in one day. I was experiencing everything. Twitching when someone hurt me and screaming when I saw Despereaux. This is a good book and so far, one of my top 5. Read and you will NEVER FORGET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ida B: and Her Plans to Maximize Fun, Avoid Disaster, and (Possibly) Save the World
by Katherine Hannigan
Spectacular, Excellent, Fascinating, and More (4/26/2006)
Ida B was an EXCELLENT book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started it yesterday and finished it yesterday. I can't believe I didn't read it before! My best friend Elise and my teacher, Mrs. Verhagen, told me that Ida B was a GREAT book and that I would really enjoy it. Well, I was lucky enought that there was a book fair in my school. They had many copies of Ida B and I bought one. I started immediately and couldn't stop. The book pulled my in and I couldn't stop reading from the first page. I was experiencing all the adventures Ida B had. I was talking to the trees and the brook. I was not believing that Ida B's mother had cancer and I wasn't listening to Paulie T.

Ida B is a GREAT book. Read it and you will treasure the book for life as you read it to your children and they read it to their children. Ida B will be passed on in generations and nobody would forget it!!
Walk Two Moons
by Sharon Creech
Awesome Book (4/26/2006)
Walk Two Moons was such a GREAT book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first few chapters were okay. But once I got to chapter 3, I couldn't stop reading! In my spare time at school, I got out Walk Two Moons and read as much as I could. My other friends had already read it and told me about some of the details. I told them to please stop so I could have some fun with the EXCELLENT book.

Walk Two Moons is an all time favorite one. If you haven't read it, READ IT!!!!! Go to your nearest library and demand that you have Walk Two Moons. Trust me, you will like it right from the start when you leave the library with your nose in the newbery award winning book that the amazing author, Sharon Creech wrote!
