Inkspell
by Cornelia Funke
A MUST Read!!! (4/22/2007)
Oh my gosh!!!! This book is so bewitching! When I first saw the cover of Inkspell I told me mom "That’s the book I want!" But, sadly I my mom picked it up and said that I first had to read Inkheart since that was the first book But, they did not have it in so I had to wait. A year had passed and I still had it in the back of my mind and when one of my best friend started to read it and told me, it come back to the front of my mind. I dreamed about it and thought about all of the time, until my mom finally got it for me and then after Inkheart I read Inkspell and that day changed my life and the way I think! When I first opened the book ALL of the characters JUMPED out and shook my hand. This book is so well described that I felt every emotion. I saw the fire dance as Dustfinger spoke to it. I felt tears come to my eyes when Meggie and Mo where reunited after so long. I felt the stab in my back when Cloud-Dancer died. I was so wrapped up in this book that I almost read Inkspell for THREE days straight (if it wasn't for school!). I've seen every thing, heard everything, felt everything, and, done everything ONE book will let you do but, that's why they have sequels right. I actually thought this book to be reality once. If you have not read Inkspell yet then what are you waiting for!?!? Go get it right now!! Well if you haven't read Inkheart yet read that first. Its just as good (Dad even read it!)!
