A Child Called It: One Child's Courage to Survive
by Dave Pelzer
The Lost Boy (5/16/2007)
When I read this book it made me glad to know that he was able to get out of it and find a safe home to live in and a family to love him. When I read this it reminded me of my mom, because when she was that age her mom would beat her all the time and my uncle Steve who as just passed away at the age of 37, and when I read the set of books by Dave Pelzer it inspired me to know that when I am old enough to have kids that I will give them all the love I have and like my mom always tells me and my two sisters no matter what happens you girls mean the world to me and there is nothing in this world that can take this away from me no matter the person. I have always wanted to meet Dave Pelzer and just to shake his hand would be an honor. But I just thought it was a great book along with the rest of them I could read those books over and over again and I do love these books.
