The Spare Room: A Novel
by Helen Garner
Wonderful (2/1/2009)

However, I couldn't have spent the few hours it took me to read this book in better company than with Helen Garner's superb, insightful, empathetic and totally real The Spare Room. I wanted to phone her and thank her profusely. I feel sane again
