Hollow Ground! (3/16/2014)
Hollow Ground is impressed, moving and fill with tales of dark secrets that impacts a mining family in Pennsylvania in the 1960's.Brigid Howley the narrator tells of curses, old tales on the family that she believes is bring misfortunes to her family. Brigid wants to escape, she is scare, limited and lonely in her despairs to understand the past and how it affects her family and the people around her. I would recommend everyone to read it.
Something Like Beautiful: One Single Mother's Story
by Asha Bandele
Moving, touching, realistic! (12/11/2008)
This is overwhelmingly real. She has captured all the emotions, thoughts, suffering of many single mothers. Her story is the story of many women in the world. Even though it her story her words fit in the heart, mind and the mouth of many women of yesterday, today and tomorrow. I will recommend this book to everyone, but especially to the men of this world.
