While My Sister Sleeps
by Barbara Delinsky
Non-stop Page Turner (12/9/2008)
Another great read from Barbara Delinsky! I had difficulty putting this book down once I started. I was completely drawn into the life of Molly Snow and wanted the story to continue on past the final page. I can see several themes in this book that would make for compelling book club discussion.
How Far Is the Ocean from Here: A Novel
by Amy Shearn
How Far Is The Ocean From Here (6/23/2008)
Amy Shearn writes beautifully at times, however her sentences tend to be wordy. I often found myself lost midway through a sentence and had to back track to the beginning. As a result, I found this book very slow-going and never felt a connection to the characters or themore
