If you likes books with action, romance, good guys and bad guys this is for you. Takes place at the end of the Civil War when renegade bounty hunters terrorize those left behind after Sherman's march through Georgia. There is a boy and girl trying to keep ahead of these men and they experience many hair raising adventures. This book has something for everyone.

I haven't enjoyed a book this much in a long time. It is an interesting look at Kabul, Afghanistan and the people who lived there when the Taliban took over. It is the story of a woman and her family of three children, one a baby. Her husband was killed, she was left destitute. It is their journey of trying to find a better life. They go though many trials while making their way from Kabul to London. Very interesting look at people in other countries

I really enjoyed this book. The mystery kept you guessing. I enjoyed the history of 18th century china with all its intrigue. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a mystery and learning the cultures of other countries.

All of which is used to thwart Francesca in her attempts to keep the Pope Safe. You can't be sure your friends are your friends. There is romance, murder, lies and all kinds of deception. This is Sara Poole's Second. Have to read her first book and then wait for her third.

The Lonely Death is a tightly plotted book. Many twists and turns . You are taken into corners and then let out again with more knowledge. It took me quite awhile to figure out the killer, but there was much guessing . Much enjoyed. Will read more of Charles Todd's Ian Rutledge books.

Very enjoyable read. Well researched. I enjoyed learning how she managed to keep her family in charge of the French realm for so many years. If you enjoy history, intrigue and a little mayhem, You will enjoy this book.

Seven for a Secret is an excellent addition to the series written by Mary Reed and Eric Mayer.After reading the previous six books, Lord Chamberlain John has become a friend along with his cast of characters. He is always involved in in intriguing mysteries. Now all I have to do is wait for eight!

Gomorrah is not a book I would buy or pick off the library shelf as this is not the type of book I read, but it was placed in my hands and I am very glad it was. Author, Roberto Saviano has a way with words that at times sounds like poetry.

A dark nonfiction account of Naple's organized crime system -- I could not put it down!
