Sacre Bleu: A Comedy d'Art
by Christopher Moore
Blue (3/10/2012)
Christopher Moore ceases to fail at creating a novel that is both intriguing, smart, and without delay - hilarious. Sacre Bleu is another one of his better works. The novel is both witty and smart while taking you on a journey through history and art. I definitely recommend anyone to read this or any other work by Christopher Moore.
Arcadia: A Novel
by Lauren Groff
Arcadia (12/20/2011)
I truly loved Laura Groff's Monsters of Templeton, and had hoped that I would have loved Arcadia just as much. I have to say that I found this book really hard to get into. I was really intrigued by the premise, a 1960s hippie commune aiming to build a utopian community, but I found the story to be rather slow and it just did not capture my attention.
All the Flowers in Shanghai: A Novel

All the Flowers in Shanghai was a thoughtful book that displays the impact of one's environment. Feng's character is a complex yet naive woman, who eventually breaks through her imposed shell.

I appreciated reading this book, and look forward to more from this author. The subtle beauty was divine...
The Night Circus: A Novel
by Erin Morgenstern
Intriguing (7/23/2011)
The Night Circus is full of wonderment and intrigue. It was quite difficult to put this book down, but when I did the magic still lingered in my head. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a bit of curiosity and magic. Beautifully written... I absolutely adored this novel.
