The Imposter Bride
by Nancy Richler
Had potential (12/12/2012)
The Imposter Bride in the beginning was intriguing and nicely humorous with an interesting storyline. I like more adventure and twsting plots in a novel, but I think many will find this book enjoyable.
Mercy Train: A Novel
by Rae Meadows
Wanted it to end (5/27/2012)
I didnt care for the writing style of this book. I thought the topic of orphan trains interesting, but wanted it to go deeper. I didn't feel the book helped me to be connected to any of the women.
A Good American: A Novel
by Alex George
Enjoyed! (3/7/2012)
I really enjoyed this book. I liked the twists and interesting characters. Being from Mo I especially liked it, would recommend!
Wayward Saints
by Suzzy Roche
Slow start (11/12/2011)
I must say that I wasn't very interested in the beginning. I was curious enough to finish, it was an easy, fast read and I would rate it as average.
The Night Circus: A Novel
by Erin Morgenstern
Swept away (11/12/2011)
I absolutely lived this book!!! It was mystical, imaginative, unique and creative! I would love to see Erin write a sequel and a prequel. I am suggesting it in my book club and giving it away in a book exchange. Thank you for the entertainment, I savored it.
Things We Didn't Say: A Novel
by Kristina Riggle
Disappointed (5/4/2011)
I was looking forward to this book. I hoped that it would pick up and become more interesting and exciting, but it never did do that for me. I did finish it in hopes that there would be a great surprise or a great ending, again to no avail. Just not enough character or plot building for me.
Friendship Bread: A Novel
by Darien Gee
Warm and Comforting (3/8/2011)
A warm, sweet and comforting novel about a town and the bread that brings them together. A great read worth sharing!
