The Midnight Watch: A Novel of the Titanic and the Californian
by David Dyer
The Midnight Watch by David Dyer (2/14/2016)
Of the many books I have read over the years about the Titanic, this is one of the most outstanding. Alternate chapters tell of the SS Californian and a journalist famous for writing about the tragic dead. Well-written, impeccably researched, this is historical fiction at its best.
The Headmaster's Wife
by Thomas Christopher Greene
the Headmaster's Wife (12/11/2013)
An intriguing plot structure takes the reader into the mind of Arthur, the Headmaster and of his wife. The characterization of these two is so well done we feel what they do. I recommend this book highly.
