The Good Girl
by Mary Kubica
If you enjoyed Gone Girl (8/6/2014)
This book will keep you turning pages..its the story of a kidnapping and the family and detective that are determined to bring her home...there are so many twists and turns and if you enjoyed Gone Girl, then this book is for you. The author uses a unique way of telling the story by having a different character speak in each chapter and label it "before" or "after" (the kidnapping event)....Take it home I think you will find it entertaining.
One Plus One
by Jojo Moyes
Dont miss this One (7/9/2014)
Anyone who read JoJo Moyes previous books knows that she can tell a story...but this time she outdoes herself. She pulls you into each character. you feel their hurt..you feel their struggles...you feel the love..and you want each and every one of them to succeed. This is the story of a single mother caught in a dysfunctional family and her struggle to make their world right. So much I can say about how this book kept me reading long into the night...but why not just tell you to go out and read it...it wont take long before you understand why I am so hooked on JoJo Moyes.

Not for Me (6/19/2014)
I tried reading this book several times...but I found that I just didn't like the characters or the subject matter. As I read along I had no feelings for the characters and that made my decision not to continue reading...
The Venetian Bargain

couldn't get through this one (4/16/2014)
Sorry, but for me...I just couldn't get through all the details about the period. I usually like historical novels but this one is just too detailed and slow for me.

IF YOU LOVE BOOKS..... (4/16/2014)
I totally loved this book.. It takes place in a small bookstore in an out of the way town. It is a little bit of everything, love story, family saga. The characters come alive and the story is such a sweet story. I recommend this book to every one who loves books or just wants a good book to settle down with.

SMALL TOWN LIVES AND LIES (1/13/2014)
I was lucky enough to receive a Advance Reading Copy of this book.. Miss Tiffany Baker does a fine job of making the reader feel the environment between the characters as well as the small town surroundings. Each time I had to put this book down, I could feel it calling me back to continue...leading me to recommend it as a fast, easy and enjoyable read....especially good to hunker down with on a cold winter night. Enjoy!
