The Romanov Sisters: The Lost Lives of the Daughters of Nicholas and Alexandra
by Helen Rappaport
The Romanov Sisters(5/21/2014)
I love reading historical novels and great non-fiction so I have been somewhat disappointed in this book. It is so filled with footnote references that the numbers seem to interfere with the flow. It feels more like a textbook.. Unfortunately, it is not something I would …more recommend to other readers.(less)
This book was one of the least entertaining books I have ever read. The characters did not feel fully realized and the story itself was not gripping. I felt no connection to the characters and really didn't care what happened to any of them. I finished reading it only …more because I felt I had to and would not recommend it to other readers.(less)
