He Started It
by Samantha Downing
The Same But Not (2/11/2020)
I reviewed "My Lovely Wife" before it came out and have yet to figure out the ending. "He Started It" is the same; the story is completely different but I was still unable to grasp the ending. Read it yourself and see if you agree!
My Lovely Wife
by Samantha Downing
Dexter It Ain't (10/9/2018)
It is a reversal of the Dexter series but quite a bit darker, not a lot of humor, and an end twist......those things being said, I couldn't put it down. Give it a try!
Anatomy of a Miracle
by Jonathan Miles
Can't wait to see what other people think..... (1/9/2018)
For some reason, I couldn't put this book down. And I'm still trying to decipher the ending. Was he, is he, did he?
Happiness: The Crooked Little Road to Semi-Ever After
by Heather Harpham
Another Read-It... (6/5/2017)
I liked this book!
News of the World
by Paulette Jiles
Read this book......... (8/5/2016)
I love Paulette Jiles and this is one you won't want to miss. I disagree with Rosann in every way. As much as she didn't like it, I did. Take a chance and see what you think!
Darling Days: A Memoir
by iO Tillett Wright
iO is swell! (4/15/2016)
In light of the controversies swirling around LGBTQ issues, this book is a perfect read......please do so!
Epitaph: A Novel of the O.K. Corral
by Mary Doria Russell
Don't miss a single book this woman has written! (1/29/2016)
Epitaph is just as fine as everything else Mary Doria Russell has ever written. Read them all.....
The Last Confession of Thomas Hawkins
by Antonia Hodgson
Read The Devil in the Marshalsea first.... (1/5/2016)
Then this book will make more sense. They were both wonderful, as far as I am concerned, and I can't wait until the third one (if there is a third one) comes out!
Lamp Black, Wolf Grey
by Paula Brackston
I'm sorry I bothered, but... (7/7/2015)
It was a quick read, and a semi-boring one at that. At least, that is my opinion. Very seldom, if ever, do I get a book with First Impressions that wasn't worth my time - this was one of them.

The premise was interesting, but it needs a lot of editing.
A Passion for Paris: Romanticism and Romance in the City of Light
by David Downie
Travel? You bet! (4/7/2015)
I am going to Paris just because I read this book (only in my dreams, but I would if I could)!
Dangerous When Wet: A Memoir
by Jamie Brickhouse
Look out, Wade Rouse! (3/11/2015)
This book was a hoot! Wade will need to look to his laurels when word gets out about this book... It's not for everyone, but those who don't mind alternative lifestyles will get a kick out of it!
Brutal Youth
by Anthony Breznican
Your choice.................... (5/19/2014)
There is something in this book for everyone - I found it wasn't my cup of tea (I don't like tea) but it was well-written for the subject matter. Maybe it will be your cup of tea...
Mating for Life
by Marissa Stapley
What a lovely book! (3/25/2014)
I am so lucky - I haven't gotten a bad book yet. Some need a little work, but this is not one of those books.......Read it, it will make you smile, most of the time. It's true to life and I have seen myself in all the ladies at one time or another.
