The Truth According to Us: A Novel
by Annie Barrows
The Truth According to Us by Annie Barrows (8/26/2015)
Loved this book, but confess to a bias. I grew up in the town where the novel is set. Reading this book was like a trip back to my childhood. That is how spot on is her description of place.
Boy, Snow, Bird: A Novel
by Helen Oyeyemi
Boy, Snow, Bird by Helen Oyeyemi (8/26/2015)
Great read in my opinion. Some of my friends think some of my picks are a little edgy but I enjoy something different. I think Oyeyemi has a lot to say and a very interesting way of saying it.
