The Collaborative Way to Divorce: The Revolutionary Method that Results in Less Stress, Lower Costs, and Happier Kids--Without Going to Court (Hardcover)
by Ron Ousky, Stuart Webb
Nice in theory, but (2/10/2016)
The book is a nice theory, but not practical. The basis is collaborative process encourages better behaviors in divorcing couples. Better behaviors lead to happier children.
The book comes across as condescending. The conclusions suggested made have weak arguments. Of course if you treat your ex-spouse better in front of your children, the children will be less torn.
I felt like Ron Ousky was trying to sell his collaborative divorce process as a magic bullet. It seemed like a way for an attorney to try and make more money without really caring how he did it other than buy his process.
