I received this book on Monday evening and finished it Tuesday around noon. It was just that good. I loved being with this quirky family. Each is quite unique. This is a lovely book that many will enjoy. However, every woman of a certain age and/or with children will love this book. Just make sure you have lots of tissues when you do. Both funny and poignant, it is a loving tribute to the author's mother but also a lovely example …more of how mothers and daughters often don't understand or appreciate each other until later in life. I will be recommending this book to every woman dear to me as a must read. (less)
