I felt like I was the only person who didn't want to blindly walk into life after high school, I didn't want to be the traditional high school student that went to college immediately after they graduated. And I was shocked that Nanette felt this exact same need to discover herself and her true passions so she could pursue pure passions. It has given me the reassurance to not be satisfied with everyone else's standards, but be true to myself and be who I want to be. This is a truly inspiring and life-changing novel, props to Matthew Quick for being able to resonate so deeply with someone in an age group that is hard to connect with. (less)
