The Weight of Ink
by Rachel Kadish
The Title Sold Me (3/21/2017)
The Weight of Ink is a book that found me. I was looking for the book that would draw me in at page one and keep me riveted the whole way through...it did. Rachel Kadish is an incredible writer, who after 560 pages left me wanting more. Each character was so believable, their voices so distinct, that I was sure that they were real. I would recommend this book to every lover of literature.
The Book That Matters Most: A Novel
by Ann Hood
Summer Read (6/19/2016)
As the facilitator of a book club for the past nine years, I have found that the members of my group like light, feel good books for summer reading. This book would fit right in. I chose it because of the title, thinking that it would offer great insight into why some books matter to, and influence people in their lives. That didn't happen. I was disappointed in the book, but I will give my copy to my group for their summer reading.
