Force of Nature: Aaron Falk Mystery #2
by Jane Harper
Force Of Nature (10/28/2017)
I had a little trouble getting started with this book. It didn't engage me right off. When I tried again I stayed with it. There were a lot of characters of which we can all relate. The plot was well written but got a little tiring. I wasn't sure how it would end as the writer had you thinking one way and then you'd read further and think no that's not who or how it will end. I'm glad I read this book but it just wasn't one that I didn't want to put down.
Crazy Blood
by T. Jefferson Parker
Crazy Blood (1/14/2016)
This book weaves a story of family, both the good and the bad. Life is about the struggles as well as the triumphs. As I was reading I wanted to know it would end well for all. A heart touching story. Job well done.
Far From True: A Promise Falls Novel
by Linwood Barclay
Far From True (1/7/2016)
What a great book! This book had an abundance of characters, therefore a number of motives. If you love a mystery this is a book you want to read.
All Is Not Forgotten
by Wendy Walker
All Is Not Forgotten (10/6/2015)
This book was a little different than my usual read. As a parent the emotions of the book hit close to home and made me wonder how I would feel and what I would do. There is such a mix of good and evil. It makes one wonder and hope that those who have so much control over another human will chose good. I didn't figure out how it would end until it was happening.
Broken Promise: A Thriller
by Linwood Barclay
Broken Promise (6/30/2015)
Linwood Barclay delivers once again. He provides many twists in the plot and a full cast of characters. One minute the story is leading down a certain path the next another twist. It is interesting to watch the characters interact and watch as their relationships evolve. Barclay entertains his readers from beginning to end. Once I started the book I wanted to keep reading. He snagged me once again.
