This book.. is hands down brilliant! (3/27/2018)
A book to keep and re-read. A book I will be sending this to friends. Forget that I love dogs and the perspective is heart-breakingly pure since it is the dog's; this is a poignant, thought provoking book about living and love and family and (oh good grief I could go on--redemption, friendship, invention and war....) The author has a true gift for scenes which transport the reader to another time, another life. Plot wise this book grabs you from page one and never lets up. Mr. Dibben created not just any book, but a work of fine literature. A book to keep and re-read. It asks the question... could it be that the ties that bind a man and his dog with love continue on through eternity? I do not want to give too much away I will let other reviewers do that, but I will say, that if u want to know what a great book from a dog's perspective is like... Just open it up and you too will be transported away. I highly recommend this piece of art!!! BRAVO!!
