I love reading anything Joshilyn Jackson writes! Her stories are always intriguing with stellar characters and in Never Have I Ever, she does not disappoint! The reader is captivated immediately by this tight circle of friends and the secrets they hold. An unwanted stranger digs up the dirt and the pages fly by until a climactic ending is reached! If you are looking for a fast, surprising read, pick this book up!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Lost Man by Jane Harper. An engrossing story of three brothers growing up and living in the Australian Outback, Harper immediately draws the reader in with a death. What follows is a satisfying journey into the family's past, rife with secrets and betrayals. Harper's descriptions of the dry, vast outback will leave you thirsty! I highly recommend this book to readers who enjoy a great family drama where you are invested in each and every character and enjoy some twists and turns!

It's been quite awhile since I've enjoyed a book as much as Young Jane Young! Zevin writes wonderfully witty prose and her characters are incredibly real. I hardly put the book down and laughed aloud several times. From the very first page to the last, it was thoroughly enjoyable!!!

Clare Mackintosh has done it again! If you enjoyed I Let You Go, you will love reading I See You. From the first page, the reader is drawn into the story and it's characters. Mackintosh is a wonder at creating true, sympathetic characters that the reader can absolutely relate to and picture! The storyline is fast paced and takes some twists, it will certainly keep you turning the pages! I will eagerly await Mackintosh's next novel!

I adore this series by Amy Stewart! After reading several dark, violent, sometimes disturbing novels, along comes the Kopp sisters!!! They are refreshing beyond belief! Stewart takes us on a wild romp with Constance, a woman before her time, and her quirky sisters. There is plenty of suspense and intrigue. If you are looking for a fun, whimsical read, please pick up this book!!

This was an enjoyable book, not only for it's insight to grief, but for it's beautiful descriptions of the Australian coast! Anikka and her daughter must learn to deal with a devastating loss in a small community and it's a very real depiction of that grief. With the flash backs throughout the story, the reader does get an insight into the relationship she is grieving. I found the story compelling.

I'm a big fan of everything Joshilyn Jackson has written and this book did not disappoint!!! Her characters have such depth and are so real. I love her story development with flashbacks to the past. I get so wrapped up when reading her books, I don't know where the time goes!! I highly recommend this book!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Broken Promise by Linwood Barclay. It was an intriguing plot line from the beginning with good character development. The end, especially, was quite a roller coaster ride with a few twists thrown in. I didn't realize at the beginning that this seems to be the first of I'm not sure how many books with this protagonist and this town. I will definitely want to read the next one and see how the characters evolve. Enjoyable!

I loved reading Fishbowl by Bradley Somer! From the first page, he draws us into this world w/in a world at the Seville on Roxy. So many apartments, so many different lives with their own dramas. With his very unusual choice of Ian the fish bringing the dramas together, we explore the occupants of the various apartments. I thoroughly enjoyed his quirky characters and wanted to keep flipping the pages to find out more! I would recommend this wonderful, enjoyable book!!!
