I enjoyed reading this historical fiction book. I knew nothing about the rivalry between Chanel and Schiaparell. The author uses beautifully descriptive language that brings the feud and Paris to life. I believe this would be such a good book great read; it has fashionmore

Melodie Winawer has written a vivid debut novel. The book is a mix of different genres including historical, time-travel, mystery and romance. The author has done impressive research into 14th century Italy and the plague.
I enjoyed this captivating novel.
