He Started It
by Samantha Downing
Family, you cant pick them, but.... (2/20/2020)
Since I LOVED "My lovely wife" by Samantha Downing I sure had high hopes for "He Started It" and I can tell you that I was NOT disappointed. I loved it through and through. From the blurb for this book, the storyline is clear; estranged siblings have to reunite for a road trip in order to gain their inheritance. Are you ready for the road trip from hell? Do you think your family is dysfunctional? Think again!
Cartier's Hope: A Novel
by M. J. Rose
More than just a story about a diamond (10/3/2019)
What a fascinating story! Cartier's Hope by M.J. Rose is an intricate novel is set in NYC 1910. A magnificent dive into the Hope Diamond, women's empowerment and a surprise romance. It is filled with mystery and love, intrigue and suspense, and, finally, acceptance and hope. Is the Hope Diamond real or a fake? No one is sure.
Where the Crawdads Sing
by Delia Owens
A quiet place (7/8/2019)
Wonderful book. Enjoyed reading it through and through. It wonderfully described scenery and nature, the relationship between people and nature. Having said this, the plot at times was a bit unrealistic. I wish it was more said about the murder too.
Her Kind of Case: A Lee Isaacs, Esq. Novel
by Jeanne Winer
A perfect legal mystery book! (5/13/2019)
This is an absolutely perfect legal mystery! I do love a good mystery book and a court case thriller, but this book was a page-turning masterpiece of legal mystery books. A wonderfully selected list of characters and scenes. Setting aside the legal side of the story this book will definitely move your feelings. The story is heartbreaking and inspirational. A must read. I will definitely read other books by Lee Isaacs, esq.
