Under The Tuscan Sun: At Home In Italy
by Frances Mayes
Seriously!?! (9/28/2022)
Started to read this and had to stop less than a quarter of the way through. Are you serious? Who is his for? So self indulgent, bourgeois and entitled. An insult to actual life in Italy and those that truly live it instead of just hopping on board for 2 acts of a scene. If real Italians read this they would be livid! Get a real job then you can whine about your Italian villa renovation challenges! You are too privileged to merit the attention of anyone unlike you. Sell your books to your mindless groupies! Real people want real stories they can relate too, not the fantasy life of the overprivileged. Poets should live in squalor and bricklayer's should live like kings, not the other way around.
