Age of Vice: A Novel
by Deepti Kapoor
Exploiting (2/11/2023)
I found the subject of this book disturbing almost from the beginning. To describe it as a boy joining a well to do family when he was sold to them against his will is not a proper representation of the story. Exploitation and human trafficking of any one but especially against what humanity stand for and to write about it as a story to make money with instead of documenting it is something I will not support. I am an avid reader but after the first 50 pages I will delete this book from my Barnes and Noble account. It is sad that children are now being exploited for profit in books!!!
