I thought that this was by far the best book I have ever read. I thought that it was really amazing when they found out that Professor Snape was just trying to protect Harry all along. I never expected that to happen. I also like the way the book is written. It is written so that every minute there is something exiting happening. So I can't put the book down. I can't wait to finish the others. So if you have not read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone I highly recommend you do.

I read the hobbit a while ago, and my twenty two year old cousin gave me the first two Potter books to read. At first I thought the book was going to be boring, and about the second chapter I just couldn't put it down. I gave it to my mother to read, and now she is begging me for the second one. This book is fabulous. I think everyone and anyone should read it. I'm giving it to my friends who have kids of their own to read it too. J.K. Rowling is a brilliant write with such a creative imagination.

I think it is very interesting book, because there are adventures, surprise and magic. I read this book translated into Polish (I'm from Poland) and I know this is why there are many differences. On my opinion it's wonderful book!

I think that J.K. Rowling is one of the most talented writers out there. She has an extraordinary imagination and knows what children likes to read. One of the things that I like most about her books, is that you'll never know what's going to happen next because a magical world is full of surprises.

I loved this book, and all the Harry Potter book is how Rowling uses the element of surprise. We learn in this first book in the series their style of writing: keep you confused until the end and shock the pants off you. The concept for the Harry Potter book is very interesting read. Because of fact that this is a bout witches and wizards, anything could happen next and you really have no clue what. The Sorcerer's Stone is an excellent book.

My favorite book out of all the Harry Potter books is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. When first started the book I thought it was very confusing and even a little boring because of all the events that were going on. But, after the first few chapters I was hooked and I finished the book in about a day. I thought the book was a extremely imaginative and creative masterpiece. Each of the characters was so unique and funny with extremely diverse personality's. My favorite twist on the story was Voldemort, his part gave the story suspense. I thought the ending was incredible, it couldn't have been written any better. J.K. Rowling has the most creative writing mind ever.

When I heard that my friends were reading 'Harry Potter' books, I was amazed because they looked childish and boring. My friends assured me, however, that the books were excellent, though I remained rather skeptical. It wasn't until I received three 'Harry Potter' books as a present, and began reading them, that my views on them changed. I now think that 'Harry Potter' books are some of the best I have ever read, and to finish, I will just say one thing: DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!!!!

I love Harry Potter but I found that this book was the least intriguing out of all of them. It didn't grab me as much as the others. It was way to much like book one Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone. I would give it a 3.5 out of five

First I want to mention that this book, was the most interesting one I have ever read, and also the Prisoner of Azkaban, now I am reading The Goblet of fire and I found it much more interesting than the last. Whatever I love the second book because it was really mysterious, the vocabulary so easy and they are big but the content is really interesting I've read 100 pages in one day. Here in Peru are also in Spanish but I prefer to read them in English because maybe the truduction is not the same as the original. Well nothing more, but expecting the fifth book to be better than the last.

I am 16 years old and I find Harry Potter books absolutely amazing. As a child I have loved to read, however, over the past 4 years I almost 'grew out' of reading, until I read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I would like to thank J.K. Rowling for re-introducing me to the world of reading. Harry's adventures and live are easy to relate to which makes it a great read for any age group. He deals with the same every day problems that people experience. I have also read the Philosopher's Stone and the Goblet of Fire. I did however, find that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was not as well written as the other books. Recent generations are surrounded by the media and this is the first 'trend' to come along in years that is not media based. I hope the J.K Rowling continues to write Harry Potter books and that the story lines don't wind their way into a television program. I also recommend the short books written for charity that Rowling has published. Happy reading to all!

Harry Potter books are one of the best books. It is full of Wizardry, magic, and Witchcraft. J.K. Rowling is one of the most talented writer. The four books are for all ages. If you haven't read this book, I recommend you to. I heard of it because my friends have been reading it. I keep finding it in a store. I first find it boring, but when I started to read it, I couldn't put it down. I haven't finish it yet. After I do, I'll read the 1st, 3rd and 4th. I want my whole family to know about it. There's the book "Who's the Worst Witch of Them All?" It's for Harry Potter fans. I'll like to read it after I finish all the Harry Potter. Although I haven't finish all the book, I'm writing a story about the girl and the similar things happened to her.

I thought all of the Harry Potter books were great. I still have yet to read the third book. I have already read a chapter of it and I already want to read it so much. I also want to say to Jenni that we are entitled to our own opinions so here is mine. If you didn't like the Harry Potter books at all then don't write reviews about them. Let other people find out for themselves. Anyway I hope that I get to read the third book of Harry Potter's series soon.

Few writers have the ability to make up fictional people in magical worlds and still be able to make you believe that if you just did what the characters did, you too, could get to this wonderful place. Before I only knew of Ronald Dahl. Now I have been lucky enough to read works by J.K Rowling, who, as so many people, has had me believing that with a simple swish of a wand, magical stuff can happen. Thank you.
