Harry Potter is a wonderful character! His loving nature really appealed to me and my child.Even though he has led a hard and uncertain life his willingness to believe in magic and his belief in himself shine through. When we heard that this was to be part of a 7 book series, my daughter moaned "Only 7?!" I feel exactly the same!

This is one of the most fantastic books in the history of the world. Its plot is so immensely complicated- it is so hard to put down. It is also quite scary, so beware.

The Chamber of Secrets has all the qualities of a great novel: mystery, suspense, and even a little humor. I couldn't put it down. The characters were likable and the plot was good, though it was a tad complicated. The novel reminded me a little of Roald Dahl, one of my favorite authors. I have a little brother who's not a big reader, but if he likes The Chamber of Secrets as much as I did, he'll get into this series and start reading more.

I thought 'Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone was a brilliantly built book with excellent language. I would like to encourage Ms Rowling to continue writing with all heart and to 'never doubt your work'.

I'm desperate to get the next series, I've read the first two series, because the other series haven't been translated to Indonesian (I'm from Indonesia). I hope Ms Rowling won't stop writing after the 7th series. Long Live to J K Rowling and her Harry Potter Series, I wish some place like Hogwarth really exist

I started reading Harry Potter when all my schoolmates started to do so. I am a type of person who doesn't like reading books. When I read Harry Potter, I couldn't stop! Every part in this story is not boring. You find out things you never thought would have something to do with what will happen. I wouldn't want to mention who has something to do with the excitement of this book. I want all of you to find out yourself. Experience it! Harry Potter lives a life like any 11-year-old. He is so amazing! The book is great -there is comedy, fantasy, action, suspense and a feeling of great excitement and the feeling you're part of the book. Try it! I'm sure you'll love it!

I think that all the Harry Potter books are absolutely great!! Everyone keeps telling me that I'm reading children's books but I think that that is an understatement of the creativity that this books hold within it's pages. All four are great stories and an easy way to relax.

The book was great! Everyone loved it! We couldn't wait for the second, third, and fourth. Now we're eagerly anticipating the arrival of the fifth book. But, don't worry Rowling, your books are worth waiting for, even if it means waiting another eight months! You're an extremely talented writer; keep up the good work! A very loyal book club.

Hello, if you are here then you are either a fan or a "Harry Hater." This is to you, all you people who visit these sights looking for something or someone to make fun of, because they read Harry Potter books. For you, I will bet 100 dollars that you haven't read it. If you have, I will bet 1000 dollars that you are lying to your friends who haven't read it, telling them that it is a kids novel. Kids novel or no, it fills the number 1, 3, and 3 of the bestseller list. Obviously, you are in the minority. It is obviously not all kids who read the books, simply because it is nearly 300 pages long. It is obviously not all adults reading the book, because they are often made fun of by people like you. Still it fill the top three places. Provocative.

I totally loved Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone. My friend, who got it from her uncle in U.K, borrowed it to me for one week. After reading it,I read it over and over again. Now, even my younger brother is crazy about him. Rowling writes totally magical books. When I read it,it was like I entered a fantasy world where even the impossible can happen .I'm sad to say that I haven't read the second, third or fourth book yet but I am searching for them. I live in Malaysia where books are very expensive. One hardcover is at least RM90.Lastly,Harry Potter Rules!!! (Can anybody tell me whether its called Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone or Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone?)

Hi, I'm an 18 year old Filipina college student, hardly a child but I'd like to say how much I appreciated and enjoyed reading the book "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". In fact I've finished reading it in less than a day. I literally couldn't put it down because it's extraordinary how J.K Rowling managed to make the story alive. Thus, transporting the reader into a world filled with magical wonder. It's as if I am with Harry, Ron and Hermione as they went into adventure after adventure! Of course if you're into that kind of thing, you would not want to stop. I'm a voracious reader and I haven't read any other book, (even those written by very famous authors), that made me stay glued to my seat. I hope J.K. Rowling will continue writing more of these. Heck, she could even beat Chaucer with her works! (And that's no flattery either!)

First of all, I must thank you, Ms J.K.Rowling, who wrote these books for us. I am a 14 years old from Hong Kong. You drive me having mood to read books again when I thought books were boring stuffs before. The story is very interesting that I read it anywhere, in train, at bus stop, or in washroom! Some people think they are the books which cheat kids, but I don't think so. They does not know what they are talking about and come out that comment, too bad they are. Waiting for your Harry Potter #5

I have NEVER read any book like those three!!! I usually really like the books I read and I have never imagine there would be ANY book that would surpass the excitement I had while reading The Lord of the Rings trilogy, how wrong was I! I am not capable of leaving those books alone. I'm currently re-reading the third one in the who-knows-which time. I am also very grateful for this series because now my brother is finally interested in anything (not to mention books) that is not pokimon. He just won't leave me alone. You can't imagine how happy I am. THANK YOU!!

There is only one word I can use to describe the Harry Potter series. Amazing. They make the top of the list of my all time favorite books. As a 16 year-old who just got his license, I naturally lost interest in reading. I had heard of Harry Potter from my mom and my younger sister, but just figured they were just some more books to clutter up our shelves. So we were on vacation (driving, long trip) and I decided to read it for the heck of it. Once I started, I couldn't put it down. I finished the first two books in three days, and I'm on the waiting list for the third and fourth at the library. It's really kind of odd though, because I find myself wondering what's going on with Harry Potter right now, even though he's just a character in an amazing book. So, if you've lost interest in reading, these books will help reel you back in.
