Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets: Book 2
by J.K. (Joanne) Rowling

This book is pure fun. Harry learns a little more about the wizarding world, Voldemort, and himself. Dobby is a sweetie...poor guy.
Seabiscuit: An American Legend

I'm not a fan of biographies in general, but this book is practically brilliant. You forget that you're being taught a history lesson. If you don't love horses already...and who doesn't?...you will after reading Seabiscuit. What grit, what determination, what in-your-facemore
