Me being a year 12 student i actually thought that "The Thief Lord" was a very mysterious and unique novel. It had it's twists and turns, ups and downs and it kept my attention. I am the kind of person who reads the first page of a book and if i don't like it i don't read further. However if the first page keeps me interested then i read the whole book from start to end. This is what "The Thief Lord" provided. I actually read it as part of my english assignment and i gained full marks. The teacher even commented that the book sounds very intreguing and wouldn't mind reading it him self! Not only did i read it as part of my english assignment but i read it out of personal interest as well as i got to choose which book i could read and write a response on.

Wow!! It was an exciting book. I have never ever had a book that i couldn't put down. It makes you wonder and have shrills up your sleeve. Cornelia Funke has a great talent when it comes to writing books. I hope evry single book of her's is published in english and i'm sure it will be just as great. I rate this a five because there nothing boring or something like that, about this book. I really elly feel bad that I can only rate this book a five because if i could i would so rate it 100.000.000.000.000.................... and it would never end i loved It~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
