It is one of the best books I ever read. I got it a book store and I fell in love with both books. i am doing a book report on the second one.

I read the first book in the series and never realized it was a young adult book. When my husband bought me the second he said he had to get it in the young adult section. And then I looked and realized he was right. To my surprise my favorite books of all time were writen for young adults. Brashares is spectacular. It's hard for me to realize that those four girls are just characters in a novel. They are made up. I find myself thinking about their lives and wishing they were apart of mine. Bee, Lena, Tibby and Carmen have found the strength to be true friends regardless of the petty girl crap, the constant competition for a boy. I look forward to the next part of their lives and I will truly miss them until then.

Oh my word! I love The sisterhood of the traveling pants and the secound summer of the sister hood. I got so depressed when i got finished reqading them both. The two books tought me a whole lot. As I read these books I felt like I was the characters. My favorite chacter was Lena. I loved how she loved kostos. I know this sounds weird but I was falling in love with kostos, and when <<content removed as contained plot spoiler>> because i could not tell him how I felt and she was not saying what i wanted her to say but in away thats good. Ann Brashares You are one of the best authors out there and I want you to know you have inspired me so much! If i ever get the chance to meet you I would be so happy. Thank you so much for writing those books and I pray that you write more of them "the sisterhood books" and I liked what you said about it possiably coming out on the big screen.

This book was great! I read the first one then had to read the next. I started it on a Saturday night and was up until 2 in the morning reading it and had finished it the next day. The writing and plot is even better then the first. While reading it, just remember to expect the unexpected.

In "The Second Summer of the Sisterhood" Bridget, Lena, Carmen, and Tibby are older and are still dealing with the issues of last summer, however they still display the wonderful bond of friendship that I most envy. I borrowed this book from my friend yesterday and sat down and read every word last night. The girls are always going to be there for each other because they love one another and that is very good to know, i hope we see more of them very soon.

sisterhood of the traveling pants and second summer of the sisterhood of the traveling pants are one of the most beautifully-written books i have ever read. it shows the powerful bond of friendship and gives meaning to different points of life. it also has a colorful cover and has quotes inside which gives a more colorful, imaginative and attractive to the minds. even though im only fourteen years old... i can say that this is a must-read because it's such a beuatiful book. i hope there's a third summer, a fourth , a fifth and so on...in the philippines where there are only so little of the copies, so i hope you will read so that you can share to others the colorful world of the four gals. Ann Brashares...one of the greatest authors of the teens world.
