I love this book, just as much as the first one. I read it in less then a week. I just couldnt put it down. It't content is so real, I feel like it could be me and me friends. Lena's story reminded me of a relationship I had with someone from Europe, the emotions she had are exactly how I feel, it's sort of strange, but cool. I hope there's a trilogy.

This book is definately one of my favorites. I too cried many times in the last two hundred pages. I can relate closely to Carmen which helped my understanding and appreciation of the overall story. Great book, and I'm looking forward to another one soon! (Hopefully)

I loved this book so much! The Summer of the Traveling Pants and as well as its' companion are really down to earth books about teenagers who are just like any other person. You get to see how they go about solving problems and you also learn about friendship. I think after reading this book I was a better friend. This book makes you think about life and to appreciate every moment you have with your friends. I would recommend this book to any teenage girl who wanted a good read. Another thing that makes this such a great book is the fact that you can relate to all four of the girls. They each have something about them that reminds you of yourself. Overall, I just really thought this was a "must read" for all teen girls who want to find out a little something extra about themselves!

This book is definately on my favorite books list (also on this list is the first book!). I feel like a different person after reading it (in a good way, of course), and I read it in two days because I liked it so much I couldn't stop reading it. I hope the author writes a third one, because I would definately buy it!

I just got done reading The Second Sisterhood and I must say it's a great book. I cried at least 10 times and I feel like a completely different person after reading it. I see how strong girls can be and after going through similar experiences as all the girls I totally related to this amazing story!

I went to a public school my whole life until last year. I was put into a private school and i was also disliking every minute of it, until i got the summer reading list. I came across the book "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants." I thought to myself, what a weird name of a book. So, I decided, I should read it since it was different from the other books. I called the library, and asked the librarian to put the book aside for me. I finally got the book that night, and starting reading it the next morning. I couldn't believe how this book caught my attention. I couldn't stop reading it. Carman, Tibby, Lena, and Bridget, all different names, all different personalities. They were spending their summers apart from one another for the first time. They were all in different spots in the world and they still kept in touch. When I was done with the book, I was angry because i finished it so fast. So, about a week later, I bought the book, and read it all over again. When i finally saw in a magazine the second book of the sisterhood was coming out. I knew I had to be the first to get it. I was the first to get it, and I finished it that night. The author did such a great job on catching the minds of teenage girls to read this book. Both stories are about four teenage girls dealing with teenage girls lives together or apart. I have recommended this book to many of my friends, and they have all said the same thing, it is an amazing book that makes you wnat to read it over and over again.

This book was excellent but i think the first 70 pages were pretty boring which brings a lot of readers down, but once you get past that poin the book is amazing all the way to the end.
