This Book is one of the best i've ever read. Some of the best points, is that it gets moving right away, and the characters really pull you into the story. Also, the theme of the story is great. Yes it is similar to many other books, but Paolini does an awsome job of diversing it from other novels as well. The story is also unique in the number of characters, haveing a large amount, that all contribute to the overall theme of the story. This is why I rate Eragon a 5/5.

best book i have ever read. I have read it 15 times and each time it gets better. The only thing is it kind of copies Lord of the Rings but since its the best book ever i don't really give.

This book ROCKS!I don't wanna wait for Eldest! Its a mixture of HarryPotter and Lord of the Rings,it even has a drawn map. This is a tie between my three favorite books(HaryPotter and the Goblet of Fire,Where the Red Fern Grows, and of course this very book,Eragon)
You never know what happens next and it has more than enough action scenes to satisfy me!And to think,he was only fifteen when he wrote this fantastic novel. This is the begining of a series of books that will make history!

Eragon is a awesome book. Eragon has a good storyline and enough violence to satisfy me. The charachters were cool and the things they did were even cooler. I think Eragon is a great book!!

i love this book. my friend lent it to me (shes obsessed with dragons) and i put it on my shelf thinking that id read it sometime. well a few days later @ school, i heard some kids talking about it and they said it was really good, so i did what just about n e 1 else would do, i went home, read it, fell in love with it and within a week, i had my own copy. i love the description, the way he puts you right in the middle of the action, the characters arent just what the story is about, they have their own personalities, and i love the way he tossed a little uhh, well, romance i guess, with arya, and you can never guess what is going to happen next....i hope the second book, eldest, comes out soon......as well as the movie.....

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have only read a few other books that i talked about and read this much! such as, LOTR!!!!!!!!!! i loved those books!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, this book did have some mimicing, but, now-a-days, all books do. its VERY hard to find a completely original book. I read this book for a high school book assigiment, and LOVED it!!!!!!!!! I had only checked it out from the library, but gave it back, and went out and bought it!!!!!!!!! I cant wait for Eldest and Empire!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
